Ingredients
Scale
For The Sauce
- 1 can (13.5 ounces) coconut milk
- 2 Tablespoons red curry paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
For The Dumplings
- 1 bag (16 ounces) refrigerated or frozen dumplings (use your favorite kind)
For Garnish
- Sliced green onion
- Chili oil crunch
- Cilantro
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it’s ready for baking the dumplings.
- Prepare the sauce: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine the coconut milk, red curry paste, minced garlic, low-sodium soy sauce, and ground ginger. Whisk everything together thoroughly until the sauce is smooth and well mixed.
- Arrange dumplings: Evenly place the refrigerated or frozen dumplings over the prepared sauce in the baking dish. Spoon a bit of the sauce on top of each dumpling to keep them moist and enhance flavor during baking.
- Bake: Bake the dumplings uncovered in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the tops are golden and the sauce is bubbly. If using frozen dumplings, extend the bake time by a few minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish and serve: Carefully remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle sliced green onion, chili oil crunch, fresh cilantro, and sesame seeds over the dumplings. Serve warm and enjoy your flavorful one-pan meal!
Notes
- Use your favorite type of dumplings, whether pork, chicken, vegetable, or shrimp.
- If using frozen dumplings, add 3–5 extra minutes to the baking time to ensure they are fully cooked.
- For a spicier version, add extra red curry paste or more chili oil crunch in the garnish.
- Make sure to use a baking dish at least 9×13 inches to allow dumplings enough space to bake evenly.
- This recipe can be doubled to serve more people; bake in two pans if necessary for even cooking.
