  • 200g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 100g hazelnuts, roughly chopped
  • 8 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chopped

Chocolate Mixture

  • 200g milk chocolate, chopped
  • 100g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 50g Nutella
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Topping

  • 6 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, whole (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tin: Line an 8-inch square baking tin with parchment paper, ensuring the paper comes up the sides for easy removal.
  2. Melt Chocolate Mixture: In a large saucepan over low heat, gently melt the unsalted butter, golden syrup, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate together, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  3. Add Nutella and Flavor: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in Nutella and vanilla extract until evenly mixed into the melted chocolate base.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: Add the crushed digestive biscuits, roughly chopped hazelnuts, and chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates to the chocolate mixture. Mix thoroughly, making sure all pieces are evenly coated.
  5. Transfer to Tin: Pour the combined mixture into the prepared tin. Press down firmly using a spatula or the back of a spoon to create an even surface and compact texture.
  6. Decorate: Place the whole Ferrero Rocher chocolates on top of the mixture, gently pressing them into the surface to set in place.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate the tiffin for at least 2 hours or until completely firm to set.
