Description

Hocus Pocus Pops are delightful marshmallow treats coated in smooth milk and white chocolate, decorated with colorful sprinkles and edible glitter. Perfect for a festive party or a fun snack, these pops combine creamy chocolate and fluffy marshmallows for a magical bite-sized dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Marshmallow Pops

  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 12 lollipop sticks

Decoration

  • Assorted sprinkles
  • Edible glitter
  • Wax paper (for lining baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with wax paper to prevent the marshmallow pops from sticking and set it aside.
  2. Insert Lollipop Sticks: Carefully insert a lollipop stick into each marshmallow, ensuring it is secure and ready for dipping.
  3. Melt Chocolates: In two separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval until the chocolate becomes smooth and fully melted.
  4. Dip Marshmallows in Milk Chocolate: Dip half of the marshmallows into the melted milk chocolate, gently tapping each pop to remove any excess coating, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Dip Marshmallows in White Chocolate: Repeat the dipping process with the remaining marshmallows, this time dipping them into the melted white chocolate and placing them on the baking sheet.
  6. Decorate Pops: Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle assorted sprinkles and edible glitter onto each marshmallow pop to add a magical and festive touch.
  7. Set the Chocolate: Place the decorated marshmallow pops in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes, allowing the chocolate coating to harden completely.
  8. Serve: Once the chocolate is fully set, remove the pops from the refrigerator and serve immediately for a fun, sweet treat.

Notes

  • Use wax paper or parchment paper to prevent sticking during chocolate setting.
  • Ensure chocolate is fully melted and smooth for easier dipping.
  • Tap off excess chocolate to avoid thick coatings and prevent drips.
  • Refrigerate pops to speed up the chocolate hardening process.
  • Customize decorations with your favorite colors or themed sprinkles.
