Ingredients
Scale
Beef Filling
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Wrap Assembly
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Season and simmer: Add taco seasoning and water to the cooked beef. Stir to combine and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the mixture thickens and flavors meld together.
- Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until they become pliable and easy to fold.
- Assemble the wraps: Lay each tortilla flat and spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce down the center. Top with a portion of the seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and optional sour cream and jalapeños if desired.
- Roll the wraps: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll it tightly to form a wrap, ensuring all filling is enclosed.
- Optional toasting: For extra crispness, place the wraps seam-side down in a heated skillet and toast for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and slightly crispy.
- Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve warm immediately for best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Customize your wraps by adding black beans, corn, avocado, or your favorite toppings.
- Use homemade nacho cheese sauce for a fresh, creamy taste.
- To make it spicier, add extra jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
- Perfect for quick lunches, casual dinners, or game day gatherings.
