Description

This Nacho Cheese Beef Wrap combines seasoned ground beef with creamy nacho cheese sauce, fresh vegetables, and melty cheddar all rolled up in a warm flour tortilla. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or game day snack, these wraps offer a delicious Tex-Mex flair with customizable toppings to suit your taste.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Wrap Assembly

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  2. Season and simmer: Add taco seasoning and water to the cooked beef. Stir to combine and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the mixture thickens and flavors meld together.
  3. Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until they become pliable and easy to fold.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Lay each tortilla flat and spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce down the center. Top with a portion of the seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and optional sour cream and jalapeños if desired.
  5. Roll the wraps: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll it tightly to form a wrap, ensuring all filling is enclosed.
  6. Optional toasting: For extra crispness, place the wraps seam-side down in a heated skillet and toast for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and slightly crispy.
  7. Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve warm immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Customize your wraps by adding black beans, corn, avocado, or your favorite toppings.
  • Use homemade nacho cheese sauce for a fresh, creamy taste.
  • To make it spicier, add extra jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
  • Perfect for quick lunches, casual dinners, or game day gatherings.
