Description

A rich and creamy Pumpkin Spice Americano that combines strong espresso with festive pumpkin pie and vanilla flavors, enhanced with caramel drizzle and a creamy half & half finish. Perfect for a cozy autumn treat or any time you want to enjoy a seasonal twist on your classic iced espresso.

Ingredients

Scale

Espresso Base

  • 2 to 4 shots (60-120 ml) brewed espresso (using espresso machine, Nespresso, Moka pot, Aeropress, or instant espresso powder)

Flavored Syrups

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce or homemade pumpkin sauce
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) Torani French Vanilla Syrup or vanilla powder

Other Ingredients

  • 2 to 4 ounces (60-120 ml) half & half
  • Torani Caramel Sauce, for cup drizzle and optional topping
  • Ice, as needed to fill the serving cup

Instructions

  1. Brew Espresso: Brew 2 to 4 shots of espresso using your preferred method such as an espresso machine, Nespresso machine, Moka pot, Aeropress, or instant espresso powder. Make sure your espresso is strong to support the robust flavor of the pumpkin and vanilla additions.
  2. Combine Flavors: Add 1 to 2 tablespoons each of Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce and Torani French Vanilla Syrup (or vanilla powder) to the hot brewed espresso. Stir thoroughly for at least 30 seconds until fully blended, ensuring an even pumpkin-vanilla flavor throughout.
  3. Prepare Cup with Caramel: Drizzle caramel sauce around the inside of the serving cup in a decorative pattern. Then fill the cup with ice to your desired level.
  4. Assemble the Drink: Pour the pumpkin-vanilla espresso mixture over the ice in the caramel-drizzled cup. Next, add 2 to 4 ounces of half & half for creaminess and balance. Stir gently if desired to blend the flavors smoothly.
  5. Finish with Caramel Drizzle: For a sweet, visually appealing finish, drizzle extra caramel sauce over the top of your assembled drink. This adds flavor and a nice decorative touch.

Notes

  • The number of espresso shots and amount of syrup can be adjusted to taste for strength and sweetness.
  • Homemade pumpkin pie sauce can be used as a substitute for Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce.
  • Use half & half or substitute with milk or cream for different creaminess levels.
  • Ensure the espresso is hot when mixing with syrups for better blending.
  • This recipe is best served immediately while ice is fresh and caramel drizzles maintain their texture.
