- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare cream cheese base: Add the softened cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat until smooth and creamy.
- Add powdered sugar: Mix in the powdered sugar until fully incorporated to create a sweet base.
- Incorporate other wet ingredients: Blend in the Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, honey (if using), and lemon juice until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Fold in raspberries: Gently fold in the raspberries, lightly mashing them as you mix to achieve a creamy texture with small fruit pieces. For a smoother texture, blend all ingredients in a food processor.
- Chill the dip: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve: Stir the dip before serving and optionally garnish with extra raspberries for presentation.
Notes
- For a sweeter dip, add an additional tablespoon of powdered sugar.
- For a lighter version, use light cream cheese.
- This dip pairs well with fresh fruit, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or pretzels.
