Description

This White Chocolate-Strawberry Tiramisu is a no-bake Italian dessert that layers luscious mascarpone mixed with melted white chocolate and whipped cream, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and fresh sliced strawberries. It’s a light, creamy, and fruity twist on the classic tiramisu, perfect for a refreshing treat that requires no oven time.

Ingredients

Scale

Mascarpone Mixture

  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces white chocolate, chopped

Coffee Soak

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

Assembly

  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Additional white chocolate shavings and strawberry slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt White Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt the white chocolate over a double boiler or gently in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool slightly to avoid curdling the mascarpone.
  2. Prepare Mascarpone Mixture: Beat the mascarpone cheese in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the mascarpone, then carefully fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
  3. Dip Ladyfingers: In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur if using. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring each is moistened but not soggy to maintain texture.
  4. Layer the Dessert: Arrange half of the dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish in an even layer. Spread half of the white chocolate mascarpone mixture evenly over the ladyfingers, then layer half of the sliced strawberries on top. Repeat the layering with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries.
  5. Chill: Cover the assembled tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. This chilling step allows the flavors to meld beautifully and the dessert to set properly.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Before serving, garnish the top with extra white chocolate shavings and additional strawberry slices for an attractive finish. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee liqueur or substitute with vanilla extract.
  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor and texture.
  • Ladyfingers can be substituted with gluten-free cookies if needed.
